Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the terms of payment?
A: For export, irrevocable letter of credit payable at sight.

Q: How long is the lead time between order placement and delivery?
A: It depends. Generally speaking, we need 2-4 weeks to finish production from order placement. And it takes about another 4 weeks from Tauranga (loading port) to Asian ports. If we have enough stock, delivery will be quicker.

Q: Does Tachikawa sell framing lumber?
A: We are sorry but we don't.

Q: What is the temperature of kiln drying?
A: It depends. Standard temperature for Radiata Pine is 90/60 in New Zealand timber industry but we can apply milder temperatures depending on timber thickness and final use of timber.
